Overall my experience with the VA home loan was a nightmare and there were definitely things Veteran's United could've done way better. I felt there was a huge lack of communication there between then after the appraisals and the end stages of the closing. It felt like a nightmare and I was finding out had news here and there from outside sources like my realtor that they should have been telling me, but because so much had already slipped past them, like a corrupt appraiser that wasn't doing his job and I was on edge, it felt like they didn't wanna deal with me anymore. Overall my team did fight hard to get me my home though and I appreciate all the trouble Jon went through to get me here.

Jake first started talking with me when working with another lender. The other lender just dropped me out of the blue and he and his team stepped up and made sure my dream of owning a home came to be reality. Jake is the real MVP in my book through and through.
Best one stop shop from start to finish. Loved having a “to do list” to always check and make sure nothing was being held up on our end. Couldn’t be more pleased with Bert Shaw and hopefully we can work with him again in the next few years when we transfer again.

Overall, I would say that my experience was excellent, however, I felt like at times I was being pressured and taken advantage of, other times I felt like the loan officer was frustrated to work with me, which was really off-putting and made me consider changing companies.
Veterans United made it very easy for me. Marcus Crossgrove was excellent to work with. Communicating through text email phone whatever worked with me worked with him as well. Super easy to work with him. My whole team was very nice and professional. Highly recommend.
