I have enjoyed working with Bill Stoldt and his team so much throughout this process I have never had so much fun. Getting a home loan means a lot to me especially through the VA. I have already talked to my son who is also a Veteran, that he should consider using VU for his next home. And he is interested in taking you under his wing, for his first VA loan. My experience with Veterans United was a very positive. Initially, my credit score was a few points shy to be preaqualified. However, the Veterans United Staff kept me from being discouraged and explained that there were reaources in place (Lighthouse Program) to assist in getting my credit score needed for pre qualification and preapproval. My credit specialist Scott was very knowledgeable and put together a strategic plan for me to stick to in order to get the desired results. I took about two months to get where I needed to be but we made it.


Would give a 10 but the app was my only issue it kept signing me out and wouldn’t remember that i enabled face recognition.

The entire process was smooth. Everyone I worked with were very helpful and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend to friends. Thank you so much!


Super helpful throughout the whole process, answered any and all questions, always reached out to see if I was still excited, noticed me of any upcoming dates or paperwork needed! At the end they even sent me alittle gift basket for my new home!
