I certainly would recommend any veteran getting a home loan to use veterans United .


Poor communication! Unreturned phone, text and emails. Would send out documentation on Friday near the end of the so if you had questions or concerns wouldn't be able to get answer until Monday if they decided to return emails, text messages or phone calls. Delayed closing. Cleared to close and 10 minutes before closing asking for updates.

This was our 2nd time using Veterans United and the process was long and excruciating. Items requested on the checklist and provided promptly and weeks later additional information was requested multiple times from things we thought had already been signed off. Communication was difficult and loan officer hard to reach. We almost always got out of office message when calling. At closing we were not notified that we would need a witness nor were we notified that we would need to have a check available.

We did a lot of research before we chose a refinance company. We feel we chose the best company to work with. They demonstrated old fashioned values and commitment to the customer.
