My whole experience, from beginning to end, was fairly quick and easy, to say the least. For a first time home buyer, at 50, I was blessed to have an entire team of friendly folks all willing to help out and guide me through the process. I'll definitely be recommending Veterans United to a few people I know who are looking to buy a home. What a God Send!
We are very pleased with our experience with Veterans United Home Loans. Mr.Dyer and his whole team was awesome during the whole process.
Overall, a 10! The only thing I would suggest is to make sure that the final closing documents are finalized before the moment of closing! That was extremely annoying! Show up expecting to pay one thing and all of the sudden; nope you must pay this! Also, please fix the issue about having to constantly having to get the DocuSign reset. Every time my Loan team would send me something it would say that my session had timed out and to reverify. Well there is no place or link to do that!
From the beginning, when we first purchased our home, until the end, when we finished refinancing our home, Veterans United has been amazing to work with. They kept us informed, helped us through every step, and made everything as smooth as butter. I would recommend Veterans United to any Veteran in the market for purchasing or refinancing a home. We could not have asked for a better company to work with!

Our loan officer, Matt Istwan, was awesome. He went over & beyond all expectations we had. Matt was always professional, courteous, and knowledgeable during the entire process. I can't thank Matt enough for his help with financing our home, he made such a difference during a very stressful home search.

Our VU team was awesome- beyond the outstanding rating of 10. Rob Dycus and Erin Craig were both quick to respond to our questions and kept us informed regarding the loan process and on what was needed during each step along the way. Rob especially exceeded our expectations. He was extremely knowledgeable and easy to work with.
If I could give you a zero or less I would have. The inconsistency, lack of communication, lack of compassion, inability to provide me with answers, and that’s just what I can think of right now. I am actually appalled at how bad the experience went like quite possibly the worst experience I have ever had in my entire life with any company let alone with a company that deals in home loans. I would go with any other company out there, Joe’s home loans down the road would probably be a better option. I asked on multiple occasions for policy paperwork and never got it, promised my full escrow returned to me, got 1/3 of it and took another month to get the rest. Stay away from this company.

I understand your frustration around not receiving requested policy information and the delay in receiving the full escrow refund. Veterans United provided an amazing house purchasing experience. Great communication and quick responses to all my questions. I will definitely use them in the future.
