Jumping through hoops is expected with a VA loan, but I wish the communication was a little better so we could have provided necessary documentation sooner. The delay in closing from this was frustrating. Most of my team was excellent but there was one person that hadn’t called at all and did not email as often as I was expecting. We still have yet to have a single phone conversation with her. The rest of the team was diligent and helped us a lot though.
Rob Deleeuw is definitely the guy you want to have as your Broker! He was phenomenal throughout this entire process! He made me feel confident that we would close, in spite of the time constraints and the minimal challenges along the way! Outstanding efforts and outstanding results!

My experience with Veterans United was a very positive. Initially, my credit score was a few points shy to be preaqualified. However, the Veterans United Staff kept me from being discouraged and explained that there were reaources in place (Lighthouse Program) to assist in getting my credit score needed for pre qualification and preapproval. My credit specialist Scott was very knowledgeable and put together a strategic plan for me to stick to in order to get the desired results. I took about two months to get where I needed to be but we made it.
Sam and his team are wonderful to work with. They keep us updated with our loan process and remind us when we need or forget to sign a document. They are so polite and professional. We couldn’t ask for a better team to work with! We really appreciate everything you have done for us throughout this process. And yes, we will have a happy new year!!
