Amber was ALWAYS available for home tours. The Veterans United did an incredible amount of information gathering about what I could afford in a home, they did all the paperwork I needed and the research they wanted I needed to do to make sure progress was being made and on time. Amber's professional, cool and calm mindset kept my anxiety level low, as a first-time home buyer, I had no idea about every step of the process whatsoever when I first started taking a look at homes, or what to expect throughout the process and she gave me the confidence I needed to help my home buying experience a simple one. And she found exactly what I wanted! Amber and her team David Kitchen and Levi are FAN-FREAKING-TASTIC!!!

Nothing else to say. I have worked with VU a couple of years ago, but this time was wayyyyyy better. Hands Down!


I think that the team did ok overall but missed a few things on the inspection. I now have to pay for things that were not identified doing the inspection. I am upset and disappointed regarding that issue. The biggest cost is the windows that are not good and will cost a lot for me to replace. I'm disappointed.

I’m sorry to hear about your disappointment with the inspection process and the unexpected costs you’re now facing. I completely understand how frustrating and upsetting it must be to discover issues, especially with something as big as windows, after moving into your home.
While the VA appraisal ensures the home meets basic safety standards, it’s not as thorough as a home inspection, which is why we always recommend a professional inspection to help identify potential concerns. That said, I’m really sorry this part of the process left you feeling let down. Buying a home is a huge investment, and I wish we could have helped set better expectations or supported you more during this step.
