I think that a buyer needs milestones so we can plan and develop expectations. I think this lender has a good process that can be improved upon. As a home buyer you can not assume the home buying process is without a few setbacks! You will need to track all updates and ask questions when you have delays. I would have lost this purchase if I did not take an active role to bring all parties together and communicate our closure requirements!
