
At first it was kind of difficult to get a hold of anyone and to get the ball rolling. The realtor we were suggested was pretty bad. Tyler stepped in and took over for us and kept the ball rolling and kept on top of everything for us, including our realtor. He made the experience good and is pretty much the sole reason we would recommend using VU in the future. Drew was also great and did what he could to help us.

Highly recommend to any veteran looking for a home loan, this is the way.

This is my last home..as i'm 77 years old now and will not see the last payment on this home. We haven’t bought a house for almost 20 years. The prices has changed a bit since then. These folks took care of us and then some. They are very helpful and answer any questions we had. I highly recommend them.





Everything was smooth and quick until closing. Need cash to close and had no idea. On closing day seen the final review of closing disclosure around noon I then tried contacting VU to see what cash to close was as I was told earlier in the process it was being worked down to 0. Say the least I couldn't get ahold of anyone mind you closing was at 4pm. Ask my realtor about it who also tried reaching out with no luck. Finally about 410pm I got an answer and luckily we was able to wire funds over. In a nut shell I didn't know I had to have the cash to close in money order form at closing that day and the closest branch for my bank was an hour away. I got lucky that we figured out a way to work around the issue but would have been nice to have a heads up not 10 minutes past scheduled time to close. Other than that little hiccup the rest of the process was smooth, quick, and easy. I would recommend to anyone.
