My family and I had an exceptional experience working with Veterans United, especially our loan officer, Taylor. Wanted to know where did I get my money that was in the bank, this was none of their business. Wanted to see my withdrawal slips which was none of their business. I had three legitimate monthly incomes... Social Security which I could have lived off of and pay my mortgage with no problem, pension plan from the state and my annuity account which I had six and a half more years of payments coming to me and show them legitimate proof of my monthly receipts and a paper from the company showing them what I make per year and what I still have coming to me and they still had trouble and figuring this out for some reason which held things up. I feel I was put through so much aggravation and trying to prove all my monthly incomes. I'm not pointing the finger at anyone but I had enough of this harassment which I thought was harassment and gave me some stress.

I understand how discouraging it can be to provide information about your income and assets multiple times, especially when you felt you had already supplied clear documentation showing your financial situation. Having to answer additional questions about bank deposits, withdrawals, and income sources can feel overwhelming when you're trying to move forward with such an important purchase.

While certain financial documentation is required as part of the mortgage process, it's important that borrowers feel informed about why information is being requested and confident that their concerns are being addressed along the way. I'm sorry that your experience left you feeling aggravated and that the process created unnecessary stress.

Joel Smith was absolutely the best i have ever worked with. His communication skills were absolutely perfect and he did not push us in anyway.
