Everyone who I worked with during this process such as Tonga, and Scott were amazing. They made the process seamless. Please put them in more positions of influence! They are the absolute best!
Veterans United and specifically Jared B. Made my first time home buying experience a great one. Jared and his team are great people to work with. They explained everything in great detail which I very much appreciated because I did not have any idea where to start or how to start. If I could shout to the world how amazing Veterans United is I absolutely would! I will be referring everyone I know to go with Veterans United ALWAYS!

Experience first-hand why 361,536 homeowners give us a perfect score!
There were some rough patches when things looked like they weren't going to work out. Overall, it was great having a team of direct contacts to ease things, but it also sometimes felt like I was being pulled in several directions at once.
Erinn was super helpful throughout the entire process.
Rebecca was the best agent a person could ask for!!
The rest of the crew was outstanding as well
The process was wonderful with the exception of our loan coordinator lindsey. There was poor communication, which caused delays and confusion.
Veterans United was my last chance to procur a loan for our home! I had exhausted all other avenues. Veterans United gives you all the tools necessary from the 1st call! From the concierge to the credit department to the loan officer and everyone in between, they helped my wife and I get to where we needed to ensure the process was smooth! Everyone we dealt with has also stated that they'll be with us even after we got through signing the loan and title! That doesn't happen with standard banks! We couldn't be happier with Veterans United and I will do my best to tell others about you every chance I get! THANK YOU!
Everything about out loan process was poorly done. At the start they should have asked for my husbands COE for his VA loan for preapproval. They instead didn’t ask for it until a week to close. This caused us to miss our closing date. We are first time buyers and didn’t know all the questions to ask. We repeatedly asked what else was needed and were told nothing, only to be asked for more later. A checklist at the start would have been much more productive. After switching to an FHA loan we experienced the same problem. Again would have missed our closing date if we hadn’t found Sarah. There were so many resources we weren’t given, questions we weren’t given correct answers to all which could have avoided a most of this. We felt continually pushed aside by Jake and his team. I would never again trust him or his team.
Response from Veterans United
Hi James,
I’m really sorry to hear how frustrating and discouraging this process was for you. As first-time homebuyers, you should have felt clearly guided from the very beginning, especially when it came to important items like a Certificate of Eligibility and understanding what would be needed for preapproval.
Learning that documents were requested late in the process and that it impacted your closing date is concerning. Being told nothing else was needed, only to later be asked for more, would understandably make you feel unprepared and stressed. You deserved clearer expectations and better communication throughout.
I’m also troubled to hear that you felt pushed aside. That’s never how anyone should feel during such an important milestone. I truly appreciate you sharing this feedback, and I would welcome the opportunity to review your experience more closely.
I’m here to listen and would welcome a direct conversation. You can reach me at 1-800-212-5200 or ClientAdvocate@vu.com. Our team is available Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. CST, with after-hours messages returned the next business day.

Jordan, Sierra, and Matt provided outstanding service and support throughout the entire mortgage process. They kept me consistently informed, communicated clearly at every stage, and addressed any issues quickly and efficiently. Their responsiveness and professionalism made what can often be a stressful experience feel smooth and well-managed.They truly went the extra mile to ensure everything stayed on track. I highly recommend this team to anyone looking for knowledgeable, attentive, and dependable mortgage professionals.
Veterans United served us with nothing but kindness and in a timely manner. We never expected for the process to go that smoothly and efficiently.
The entire team with VU that I worked with was completely amazing through every step! I am so grateful for all of them!
Mr. MADDOX and his team are very friendly and helpful, understanding someone obstacles
Our Veterens united team was outstanding !!
We never felt rushed in the process and always felt heard . We looked at quite a few homes and ultimately found the home perfect for our family

We will recommend Veterens United to all of our Veterens and active duty friends!!
First and foremost, Thank you all! Second, I'm glad it's over! At 55, this is my first home purchase. The first home I went under contract with was not so great, but I lay the blame on a shifty seller and an even shiftier seller's agent! Lesson learned. Regroup and got it done right the very next house with a new agent (Christi) I believe picked by Nicki & facilitated by Nicki & Rachel. In the end you all got me into the home I wanted so thank you!
had a great experience with Veterans United. They are incredibly responsive and on top of everything from start to finish. If you need updates, reminders, or next steps, they will absolutely stay on you — but in the nicest, most supportive way possible. 😅Their team makes sure nothing slips through the cracks, and you always know exactly what’s going on in the process. If you want a lender that communicates consistently, follows up relentlessly (in a good way), and genuinely keeps your loan moving forward, they’re it.
Disgusted by how everything ended up at the end. Ive explained myself.
Response from Veterans United
Hi Manuel,
I’m really sorry to hear how everything ended and how strongly you’re feeling about it. That’s not the experience I want anyone to walk away with.
If you’re open to it, I’d appreciate the chance to talk through what happened and review your concerns personally. You can reach me at 1-800-212-5200 or ClientAdvocate@vu.com.
