This is my third loan process with Brian Jahnsen and Veterans United. The process is so seemingly easy...the horror stories that I had been told about VA home loans had me feeling very apprehensive but Veterans United has taken care of me each time!
Veterans United is supposed to be good, however, we heard a lot of things about extra fees being charged if your loan officer is not a local agent. They charge a $695 underwriting fee. Beware before you apply. Also, do some research on your loan officer. My loan officer went missing after our offer was accepted by the sellers and the loan process started. It would take days to have our questions answered.
I'd also like to rate the law office of Melissa Tzanoudakis who worked with all of us on this a 10/10. Melissa along with the Veterans United team and Joanne made a very effective team and did a great job.
