I would absolutely recommend Veterans United to my friends and family. The entire team was superb. I cannot thank Bill Musick enough for his assistance and diligence in getting and making this process as stress-free as possible. He communicated promptly and answered all my questions in detail. I worked with Bill on my initial purchase of my home 5 years ago, and reached out to him for this last transaction refinancing to a lower rate. I am very pleased and blessed to have received outstanding service and would highly recommend Bill and his team to anyone looking for his services.

Our overall experience with Veterans United was Good, yet we failed to see the difference between using this company or another lender. While we were assigned a "Loan Coordinator" Sammie, We again failed to see what her specific job was. When asked questions she tended to just refer us to Scott, even when it was in regards to email's that she herself had sent us. It seems as not the best practice to have two people as point of contacts when the other person does not seem to have answers or you can never get a hold of.

I was skeptical of an online mortgage company but I was very pleasantly surprised and impressed at the level of communication Veterans United is able to maintain with customers.

Be prepared to go over some significant and overly redundant hurdles. If I had one recommendation for Veterans United it would be to simplify your underwriter processes, by not making things so restrictive; especially when your customers are already in a very restrictive (COVID) environment. Supporting businesses, such as locations with a Notary, to include the Title company was closed from public access. Unless an appointment is made far in advance, basically buyers are having to conduct business through slots in the entry door. As for a notary, luckily I was also buying a car and the dealership had a Notary available; it was our fourth stop location in search for one.

When you say "personal" loan specialist, you really mean it. Stacy was amazing!! So professional, kind, easy to work with, thorough, and more. We have a more complex financial situation and she was patient, explaining everything and helping me work through it all. I feel like she's my friend now! I was really, super stunned when we received a generous gift in the mail for our kids - an adorable pancake griddle that we now use a couple times a week.
