Stay away from VU. I will ask my friends and family to stay away from Veterans United.Few issues:i) VU loan officer gave me the wrong information regarding the VA Jumbo loan and county limits. 2 weeks before the closing, they gave me new information. Either incompetence or shady practice.ii) This loan team was horrible at communicating. We checked in a week before closing if everything was good. The loan team said they didn't receive title documents from the title company. It took one phone call and 5 minutes to send documents over. The loan team did not reach out to me/my real estate agent/title company for missing title papers before that. VU loan team said they might not be able to close the loan on time just because of that.

Great experience for a second time with Veterans United.
The entire team that guided me through the refinance process exceeded my every expectation. Cory Bruns did a superior job with my pre-qualification interview. Ryan Peterson was there with an answer to every question I had throughout the process. Matt Istwan explained the final elements of the mortgage so that I was completely prepared at the close.
