I also really appreciated having the opportunity to speak with Sheldon, Heidi and Lindsay. Every interaction I had with a member of the team left me feeling confident and reassured in the loan process. A special shout out to Sheldon, as he was the first person on the team that I spoke with. He worked with me in getting my initial pre-approval and again when I asked for an increase in the pre-approval amount. Sheldon was personable and conversational. Lindsay was super upbeat and a joy to talk to. I felt that she was genuinely excited for me, especially when we got the clear to close. Heidi was very genuine and provided me with a list of other things to consider outside of the loan approval process that I wouldn't have thought of otherwise.
Great job to the whole team. I’m sure there are more people who helped whose names I will never know.

Overall experience was great! We closed on our new home. No complaints on having a forever home and wonderful community. Cole was great, the only problem I had with the entire process was being over promised initially for performance measures outside of coles control. I understand he is a positive A-type. The problem is that my deal breaker with the financial institution I’ve used for a great number of years was a guaranteed non issue according to Cole. So I went with Veterans United and had the greatest home buying experience ever until a week from closing. Wouldn’t you know the guaranteed non issue. Ultimately I could have stayed with my longtime financial institution. At the end of the day I got what I set out for, but had this been a person that couldn’t have been as flexible, the situation could have been devastating particularly for disabled veterans. Cole is a great guy and I enjoyed working with him. Don’t over extend yourself bud.
