As a first time homebuyer, and being totally green to this industry - I came across several lenders who would try to take advantage of my inexperience. Matt Perona and Veterans United were one of the only lenders who did not and actually invested time and resources to help me prepare to make an informed decision - way before I even made any sort of commitment to them, so it was truly self-less.I couldn’t recommend them enough. Not only did I get the best estimate / offer the first time, where others started higher trying to get a gauge of their wiggle room, but VU didn’t try hiding fees to offset the credits listed on the estimate. No games & great experience. I’ll be back for the next mortgage!
