My experience wasn't so great! :( Although it did start out good... I am a first time home buyer and had no clue what I was in for and at the very beginning they communicated very well and explained everything and then I was switched to three to five different loan specialists in the middle of it all and that is when it all changed. The communication was no longer there until the very end. I was lost. I was confused. I had absolutely no idea what was going on. During this long process, myself and my children were stuck between homes due to my COE never getting processed on time. I feel this should have been one of the very first things explained to me before house hunting. Overall, this process should have been made a lot more simpler for someone that is walking through this for the first time. It wasn't fun and exciting. It was extremely stressful, mostly due to the lost communication.
All the things you hear about home buying: nightmare, convoluted, frustrating, etc. None of these were true using Veterans United. Thanks for such a wonderful first time home buying experience. 10/10 and would absolutely use again for the next home.
Overall my experience was good, documents was sent to me in a timely manner, I did appreciate the team members reaching out to me and always courteous.
