I have read a lot about other veterans’ great experiences with VU and loan teams. However, their experiences are still nothing compared to mine. Neither are their loan teams a match for Ashley’s. If you’ve bought a home before or if it’s your first time I highly recommend utilizing Veterans United Home Loans. They took all the intimidating aspects of purchasing a home for the first time away from me and made everything simple and understandable. Very responsive staff and is a very trustworthy organization. From getting a preapproved loan all the way to closing on a home, the checklist system that they have was amazing. Each task that was checked green just let me know that documents I submitted were reviewed by a specialist and submitted correctly. Best part of all the team that are assigned to you will explain everything to you! I would give them a 10/10 on a score board.
Overall a really easy experience.

The service that Veterans United provided was professional and friendly. We always felt comfortable asking questions because they always treated us with respect. I can not even imagine that you could fine a better loan management team that would make your home buying experience better.
The communication is horrible, my team did everything last minute.When I clicked ready to pay for the appraisal on a Monday, they still didn’t call me, I waited until Friday, I was like are you guys ever going to call to get this appraisal going!!I understand there can be miscommunication, but if you have been doing this for 9 years don’t assume someone who is a first time home buyer going to understand all the documents. That is like going to a doctor office and trying to understand your diagnosis without the doctor explaining it!The funny part is on the closing day, I didn’t know where to go and what time, it said on the portal that my loan coordinator will tell me, well that didn’t happen, I had to figure it out myself!!Beside my team
