Overall I would recommend Veterans United. My loan specialist Zane was fantastic. I honestly didn’t understand the multiple load officers On the same loan, as the other lady Monika was out of the loop or just didn’t look at anything before asking for the same documents over and over. Also at closing I almost had to pay $900+ more due her not looking at the invoices for prior inspections, that were sent to her prior from two sources showing them being paid. Overall I would use them again as they helped in my unusual case.
BE CAREFUL! Veterans United MIGHT be ok to use for a simple 'cookie cutter' house in a perfect little development, but otherwise RUN AWAY! They are a typical big corporation with lots of 'programmed' employees. In most cases you will be better off with a small local bank with just a few 'well trained' loan officers who will actually listen to their customers instead of just reading some script. If your Active Duty, you may be PCSing again before your loan finally goes through! Good luck!
I would recommend Veterans United 1000 times over again. They went to great lengths to help us through what can be a very stressful process. They are with you whether it is an bump in the road or you just need a moment to vent. Our purchase was across country and they where with us for every step trying to make sure it all went as smoothly as possible.
I would most definitely recommend Veteran's United to Veteran homebuyers. Their streamline process is the best! Working with VU made a possible daunting journey a wonderful experience. Thanks VU!
The team at Veteran’s United truly made me feel like a valued customer. I would recommend them to anyone in the process of searching for a home loan.
We had top notch assistance, quick closure, and constant feedback. First time we dealt with them. We have always used usaa but when they would not return phone calls we decided to go here. Very glad we did.
