While I did appreciate the little gifts I received during the process, I do not feel that using Veterans United was worth it. This process should have been easier on us but it was so stressful and I wanted to quit multiple times despite the money I already paid. We had to sign 4 separate amendments because we just couldn't close in time. I was 5 months pregnant when this started and now I am in my third trimester and can do less than I could before. Moving is frustrating enough but this was handled very unprofessionally.

This was the first time I had ever built a home from the ground up. I was very concerned about how stressful the entire situation would be. However, the team at Veterans United made this veteran feel at ease from the very beginning, and never stopped providing outstanding customer service throughout the duration of the home build. From the loan screen, to underwriting, to final approval and closing, the Veterans United team was constantly providing positive support to me while understanding how important it was for me to achieve my goal of building my home. We started the home-buying process from overseas as first time buyers. Other lenders that claimed to have military families in mind didn't have a way for us to include international phone numbers or even indicate that our address was overseas (AA/AE/AP). I was so relieved when I found Veteran's United. Between the excellent rates and the unmatched customer service, we could not have chosen a better option for our first home.
My first time home buying experience was a breeze with veterans United. Very easy and straightforward process.
