Long story short: About a year ago we sold our home in Utah to embark on a new adventure. We all needed a major change and decided that the Pacific Northwest was going be our new spot. Finding a place to rent for the time being was tough but we managed to find a place. It was a bit crammed in comparison to our last house but we were determined to make it work. Within a couple of months I had found a really good job and we started looking at our options once our lease was up. I took a stab in the dark and applied online with Veterans United, not sure I would even be pre-qualified. They say, "You don't know what you don't know". I didn't realize how big of a roll debt to income played in the home buying process among other things but within a couple of months we were wearing our masks at the title office and holding the keys to our new life! Despite all of the pandemic, our team at Veterans United worked diligently to get us approved with the lowest rate possible. They even worked with our sellers/builders to certify them as VA approved builders. All in all we couldn't be more psyched about our experience!
