Veterans United had the best rates at the time I was doing my research to refinance my home. My loan specialist, who was referred to me by family who knew a friend, did the work to get me a rate that beat the competition that I had reached out to. They made the process easy and the website they use to process all the required documents was simple to use and I was able to do things when I was able to complete those. Overall, a great experience and I’d recommend Veterans United as an option for you to finance your home!

We tried to do a cash out loan a few years ago and that time the Appraiser performed an improper assessment of our house! I had to audit the Appraiser's work to find the how and why. When I presented the evidence to Todd and requested another appraisal, he flat out refused. We went with another loan company and we filed a complaint to the state about the Appraiser who subsequently lost her license because we weren't her first complaint about wrongful assessments. It was my mistake to come back to Veteran's United when there are other companies willing to work with you!

Kristen, We do apologize for any issues that may have occurred when dealing with the appraisals and the VA home loan. The VA is in charge of who and what company will perform the appraisal. Veterans United cannot be involved due to lending laws. These third-party issues are stressful for all involved and we share that frustration. Veterns United was awesome and their website was user friendly and made the process so easy and less stressful. This is the third house we have purchased and this was the easiest and most stress-free experience, even better than when we used USAA.
