I could certainly write a book and sound like a commercial when I speak about VA UNITED! Being first time homeowners in our early 60's PLUS, not having a realtor, well...I have no words to express this emotion. From the very first time that RYAN BRAY spoke to us on the phone, WE BOTH KNEW , HE KNEW HIS STUFF!!! He has walked us through the whole process of all this and never made us feel like we were asking stupid questions. He has become a great friend, that I will certainly miss getting to talk to. Him and KELLY BOTH. I don't want to leave out DUSTIN who, when I did talk to him, was so kind and patient. YOUR COMPANY SHOULD BE VERY PROUD of this GROUP OF PEOPLE that represent THE VA UNITED. THANK YOU and I pray that GOD blesses each of you!

Thank you all for helping me purchase my first home! You are all amazing, professional and I would 100% recommend VU to all of my friends. Thanks!

Experience first-hand why 328,823 homeowners give us a perfect score!

Getting the closing documents to our title company/attorney was not the best experience. Our attorney had to work very hard to get the required documents -the documents from our end were submitted however, according to an individual at Veterans United, they were not. This individual was incorrect and slowed down the closing process.Mark and Jerry were great and very responsive and communicative. Overall Lower score to 8 is for the closing process.

Everything started out going well but when it was getting closer to closing it seemed no one understood what was going on. Closing costs change several times fees that shouldn't of been going to me were. If the job of Zach was to do this he should have known what charges were mine vs the sellers. I almost walked away from the deal several times. Closing got pushed back due to thoughts of if I would have Closing costs covered or not. Turns out due to Zachs lack of knowledge in his job pushing the closing back was unnecessary because he was thinking my closing costs would be 9500 and after changing several times they came out to be around 4K. Things he told me would happen and be better turned out not to be. I followed his advice thinking he knew what he was talking about. It was a mistake maybe in a few years with more experience he will be better at his job but for now he was terrible.
Response from Veterans United
Timothy, we take your feedback seriously and we appreciate your willingness to acknowledge this situation. The process for disclosing the costs of a loan is managed very closely. We understand how relying on estimates for a portion of the home buying process can seem inconsistent or make it difficult to trust the process. We also feel the stress involved when an unexpected complication delays a home closing. While there are aspects of the loan process that can only take place once all conditions have been satisfied; it is important that we take all feedback into account and look for ways to promote an excellent customer experience. One of our Client Advocates will be researching your comments to determine what our team may do in the future to help prevent a similar misunderstanding.
The second Liam with Veterans United and wouldn’t choose another lender.
