For someone who has owned a home, or has had a longer history or credit/rent/ utilities etc. I would definitely recommend, but for a first time home buyer I feel less likely to recommend, due to the lack of knowledge they need and lack of underwriting components to help the process be smoother. But over all I learned a lot and just glad it is done.
Working with Veterans United Home Loans was a great and painless experience. I was able to do nearly everything online or through my phone which was a great feature for someone who has a busy life.
The home buying process can be a very stressful one, especially as a first time home buyer. Veteran's United made the process very easy! The online system was very easy to navigate and overall informative. I learned a lot from the home buying videos, and of course my loan specialist. My purchase should be used for training. It is clear there wasn’t a lot of experience dealing with a vet that previously purchased a home in another country before returning to the USA to use the VA loan.
It was my first home buying experience in the USA, definitely not something I hope to ever do again. My team was awesome though. Really went out of their way to try to walk me thru it as there were terms and procedures I was unfamiliar with.
