Corey was always so unbelievable professional and pleasant throughout all of our communications and never seemed bothered no matter how many questions I had or how many follow-ups I initiated. Outside of the customer service aspect, Cody scored me a GREAT rate and loan amount compared to the other lenders that I consulted with. AND I walked away with money being returned to me after closing. All in all it was a very great experience. I will without a doubt use VU for all future home loans and will recommend Cody and Corey to any veteran NC home buyer that I meet.

My first home buying experience, during this pandemic with covid-19 was nothing like I tried to read up on. Most of it was no contact. Only contact I had was with my realtor and at the very end when I had to sign papers on day of closing. All was done in emails. My anxiety on a all-time high with such a big purchase and not knowing half of what I was reading. It's done and over with now!
I was beyond impressed with Veterans United and I believe anybody looking to buy a home using a VA loan would be too.
Excellent service from my loan specialist. The underwriters however nearly cost me the earnest money by asking for additional documents two days before closing. Next time I will go with a regular bank.
