While Katie was great, as was Katie Willis with whom I spoke more often. The parts of the homebuying process that I did not enjoy:1) Never heard back from the underwriter. I could have closed on time and had a lot less stress if I was reached out to earlier that there was trouble contacting an old employer. I was able to handle this relatively quickly, but this was a 40 day close and still late. As the typical close is within 30 days I would expect everything to have been ready at the 30 day point. Since I was told everything was fine, and the close was set for a Friday, I had lots of moving plans set up for that weekend which I had to cancel and change at the last second.2) the closing fee (not the VA fee) is higher than my friends have had elsewhere, and since I didn't get to see the cost breakdown or estimated APR until a seller approved of my asking price I was unable to ask around.

I had a very good experience with purchasing my home. Steven Ross went above and beyond in order to get myself into the home that I've always wanted. I just want to say I appreciate everything that Steven did for me????????????????????
Easy 1 2 3
What a great bunch of guys to work with.
Veterans United Home Loans is the only way to go, they are exceptionally professional at their job. I was very pleased with their handling of my loan and highly recommend them to other vets.
Attention to detail. The community you are attempting to serve lives and dies on the ethos of "attention to detail". This is lacking at Veterans United. Although our process proceeded as it should once in the hands of professionals like Carl and Eva, it was the little details that caused unnecessary delay at critical times. None of these were catastrophic or of serious consequence because of Carl and Eva, but the attention to detail would have made an average experience an excellent one. Veterans united needs to work on this and weed out the incompetent brokers that otherwise ruin an otherwise basic process.
I am very happy with how thorough they are ! They really guided me into this with ease and professionalism. Would recommend !!
