In comparison to my previous lender NFCU it was a night and day experience from start to finish. Any issues that occurred were immediately resolved. Then the additional customer care I received like the welcome mat and care packages were such a nice addition to the entire process. I also really like how well the dashboard worked online for submitting documents.

Veterans United takes all the frustration out of buying a home.
Other companies may claim they know about VA home loans, but not like Veterans United! Dealt with several corporate mortgage companies since 2007 on home loans and attempts to refinance. There is no comparison when it comes to Veterans United, especially in customer service and their transparency during the loan process. I finalized and closed on my Interest Rate Reduction Refinance Loan (IRRRL) almost a month earlier than expected. I was also offered the opportunity to defer two mortgage payments. Veterans United is truly dedicated to "serving those who have served our country." Thank you, Veterans United!
Even though the time from deciding to but the house to the closing was over 3 months, everything from Veterans United was spot on. Very good experience and would definitely recommend to other veterans for their home buying choice.

Seamless processes, VU really goes out of there way to make the entire home buying journey a pleasant one.
Good experience, even though it was long and somewhat delayed. No fault of veterans United just simply the timing with buying and selling amongst 3 separate families. Only negative thing throughout entire process would be there seems to be way to much confusion with underwriting and 401k information. This however is not such a problem that I wouldn’t use Veterans United in the future
I would not only recommend this team, I will seek them out if I ever need any such services again.
