Veterans United Was absolutely amazing from start to finish. When we first applied for this loan we weren’t quite there yet with our credit. Instead of being told no like we were several times in the past with other lenders, vets United Went above and Beyond and put us in contact with our credit consultant Charlie. He told us exactly what we needed to do in order to get our credit where it needed to be and within no time we were ready to talk to our loan officer! Darin was amazing And also went above and beyond to get us preapproved and helped us through the entire loan process. Morgan was our Loan coordinator and she was absolutely amazing! She answered every single one of our questions on a day-to-day basis And made this entire process smooth and very stress free! Kohlie was Our concierge she was very informative and very friendly! My experience as a first time home buyer was absolutely wonderful! No matter when I had questions, Jake McQuitty took care of us. Regardless of the complexity. He not only gave us answers but never wasted an opportunity to educate my wife and I on the home buying process and requirements. We kept the questions coming and he was patient enough to walk us through every step of the process. We are a military family and had to be uprooted and in a home in 30 days. My wife and I went from choosing a home to being clear to close in under 12 days and all of the credit goes to Jake and his rapid assistance. There is no way we make it to closing day without his guidance.
As mentioned above in my initial write up - here is my review thank you VU for being such an outstanding company/organization. All realtors love working with you all, and most sellers that never heard of you, loved you once it was all over and deal was over and completed. Hannah Liebhart and her entire team , Lauren Sprague, Emily Gandy, Kole Berry, and others I am sure behind the scene, did an outstanding job again....what a team effort.Precise execution of loan processing, and all upstream and downstream processes. My first experience with VU was phenomenal. My second loan experience with them was a bit of a let down. They charged me fees on things that I don't think they should have. All of the small fees add up. When someone is buying a home, they need to save as much as possible. There are way too many unnecessary fees, perhaps VU could downsize its unnecessary personnel and programs, and that would allow it to cut out some of the fees.

I understand how frustrating it can feel when costs add up, especially when you’re trying to be as financially prepared as possible during a home purchase.
Concerns about fees are important. You should always feel clear about what you’re being charged for and why. While many costs in a mortgage transaction are standard or third-party related, that does not lessen the impact they have on you.
