My experience was very interesting. I had to deal with old taxes - paid in full, awaiting pay raise to qualify for the loan and underwriting every little nitpicking detail. I honestly thought about pulling out during this 4 month ordeal and even contacted my local mortgage person. The mortgage company offered a better deal and already had my info on file..However, a few years ago when I initially communicated with Matt, he told me what I needed to do to qualify for a mortgage. I spent 2 years working on my credit and when I was ready - reached out to Matt. Based upon that conversation with Matt and talking to him throughout the years, I trusted his opinion.My experience wasn't as smoothed as I'd hoped for but it was a journey. Beyond easy with no hassle!
Too many ppl from their company communicating with me and my realtor, often with different information. Failure to keep us informed about rate lock extension fees due to extension of closing date of the loan. Causing us to pay extra money for days after we actually closed on the house.

Veterans United Home Loans made this process very easy and stress free. We've been looking for financing since 2016 and were very disappointing with the way we were treated by other financial institutions. VU assigned us a team to assist us through our process of collecting all required documents to build our packet. VU also connected us with a realtor who was outstanding, flexible, and knowledgeable in his field. The constant communication from our loan officer was also great to reassure us and to make us feel valuable. VU works diligently to make us closed within 40 days of signing our agreement of sale. We still can't believe we already closed and we are owner of our own home. Thank you so much for making this dream possible.
