This is my first home purchase after a long and expensive divorce and I am rebuilding my life and VU was extremely helpful by helping me to meet my goals. I would highly recommend using Veterans United should you find yourself ready to buy. VA loans are different from a conventional loan. Many times, they require information that is not necessary with a conventional loan. An example of that, is that the VA required a more indepth water testing requirement. Veterans United seems to have the experience necessary to walk a finer line with all the additional requirements. I could not be happier with my buying experience, even though I swore I would never do another VA loan after all the craziness I had to go through buying through the last one.

While my experience was not as good as I would have hoped for given this company’s rating and reputation I recognize that my experience is not representative of every loan officer or employee of the company. I would still recommend Veteran’s United I just would NOT recommend my particular team and it’s a shame because they started off really great.
If you’re a first time buyer and are skeptical or hesitant with the process on purchasing a home, they will walk you through it from the moment you make an online account until you sign for your home. Always had a loan specialist at my disposal for any questions I had about the purchase and insurance , HOA fees, etc.
