Very smooth process. Made an offer to a house June 26 and moved to the house July 31. At first I thought it wasnt possible but they made it possible. We been in the house for almost 5 days now and it's still not sinking in that were homeowners. Thank u for everything. I Highly recommend VA united home loans to everyone.

Veterans United has really good rates, possibly the best around. They will keep you informed and your questions will not go unanswered. The process is very easy, and they make sure you’re getting a good deal on the home you plan on buying. They make first time buyers have a very worry free experience. They also made it so I wouldn’t have to worry about separate home insurance for a whole year!

All of you, all of you,..are promise keepers. You keep your word.

Everyone was great

I have heard horror stories from other veterans about how stressful buying a house could be which was the last thing I wanted to experience. My wife and I were in the process of moving, both finding a job as well as working at a new job, etc. needless to say it was already an extremely stressful time. We were provided 30 days of temporary housing courtesy of my new job and knew finding a new place to live was going to be nothing short of a miracle. Having found the perfect house we knew we wanted to purchase the home but were reluctant due to the time constraint we had and the possibility there was of any lender telling us no we cannot get close that soon. I figured why not give someone a call and be completely transparent about our situation and see what is said. I googled best VA home lenders and sure enough Veterans United stood at the top over all their competitors. I gave them a call and was introduced to Drew, Samantha, and Caleb Batson. After explaining our situation they told me not to worry and that they could meet the deadline with some work on our part. From that point forward I was guided the entire time through the home buying process. Caleb’s team showed genuine care, the highest level of professionalism, and provided service that was nothing less than excellence. 30 days later we are now living in the first house my wife and I have ever owned and couldn’t have done it without the exceptional service of Veterans United/Caleb Batson’s Team. 10/10 would recommend to any and every veteran out there.

The whole process was extremely smooth. I received my preapproval in less than 24 hours. There were no issues during the underwriting process and the rate I got was much lower than expected.

Veterans United made my home buying experience a pleasant and positive event. They were full of information, were able to answer all my questions, and provided detailed instructions when they needed me to obtain required documentation for my loan application. The entire VU team was a pleasure to work with. Thanks so much guys and gals as we are certainly enjoying our new home.

The way lending to veterans should be! I have always worked with Quicken Loans in the past (3 times in fact) and decided to give Veterans United a try. I was more amazed at how I was treated at Veterans United than anything else. No one was trying to lead me in with an online interest rate that no one qualifies for, or would have to pay huge discount points to attain, or put me in some kind of program that I didn't understand. My contact, Kyle Bakker was upfront with me and let me know of any potential setbacks or delays that may occur during the process. Never once did he try and "BS" me. As a Marine, I appreciated that. The Veterans United "free" rates (no points to pay with these rates) were very reasonable and beat most of the competition. After educating me on whether or not it was a good idea to pay for an even lower rate, I felt comfortable that I made the right decision. Kyle, great Job. Semper Fi.

This is the second time I’ve used veterans United and I will not hesitate to use you again in the future!

I turned to Veterans United after the previous mortgage company I was using to get the home buying process started, was not very knowledgeable in VA home loans.

The only two problems I had with VU was when I leave a voicemail with the loan officer, and/or supervisor, I expect a call back from them. As a customer, I believe that I am at least entitled to that. I called the supervisor three times and to this day, never received a call back. That's bad business! The second problem I have is, I should never hear the words "We have other Veterans to take care of, do you think your file is more important than theirs?" That's not good customer service. The person also made the statement, "Do you expect your file to be place on top of the stack?" I didn't expect any if those things, but they should have never been said to me.Other than that, I would recommend VU to my family and friends! They got it done 👍
