There should be a check list for vets. That way we can get all the paperwork together. I was getting stuff submitted at the 11th hour.
Then I didn't know what I was bringing to closing until three hours before.

This was my first home purchase, so I didn’t know anything about the process. Josh Kaplan (my Loan Officer) and his team walked me through the fog and gave me all the information I needed along the way. I have to say, I thought it was going to be much more difficult. The professionals at Veterans United made it easy, and I never felt like they were just out to get my money. If I buy another home in the future I will skip the lender comparing step and go right back to Veterans United.

Since it was 43 years since we made our last move understanding the forms and explaining the forms of “how to” required more patience from younger representatives. I found out as I aged that people who rely on computers and online business transactions can’t understand why it is so difficult for us older folks to know what we are doing. So when a representative realizes a person is having difficulty with the forms he or she should call on a more personal note to help instead of sending the same email over and over. And then again it’s my fault for being old school and waiting to talk to a person instead of a computer.The benefits of the loan itself are amazing and offered the best for an individual needs. In a time of need the veterans have always been so helpful and understanding. We can’t thank you enough for all you do.
