There are a lot of fees that are never explained to the buyer. I did end up paying my own closing costs they are just rolled into the loan along with all the hidden fees. VU should be more upfront about these things. These fees and closing added $9 to my loan.
I would tell anyone VA eligible to look into Veterans United. The preapproval process was easy and is important to help everyone know you are serious about finding a home. It’s imperative to have knowledgeable people helping you through the complicated process and Veterans United folks are pros!
