You guys are great. You helped me get my credit score where it needed to be and walked me threw every step along the way. Thank You for helping my family's dream come true
Everything with Veterans United was perfect. However at the other end not so well. In our contract it stated that the pool would be taken care of and in usable condition and it was the contract also stated the air conditioning system be in working order and it is not. We are staying at a hotel until this situation is taken care of. More than likely I will need to have it repaired or replaced at my cost and then higher a lawyer.
I just felt you needed to know this.
After reading reviews about USAA sorry track record on mortgages I decided to go with VU. I could't have chosen a better company. Zain went out of his way to make the experience a great one! If you are in central florida I would also recommend mba realty. The fact is when the first home we were closing on fell through due to super low VA appraisal, they made it right! Even though it was not any of their fault! Now we got our dream home!!! Thank you God, veterans united, and mba realty for making me feel like a person and not a number!

The best decision I ever made when I decided to purchase a home. Veteran's United was very efficient, From the time I made my first phone call to closing on my home. I would recommend Veterans United to any Veteran looking to purchase a home.
At times I was skeptical about choosing Veterans United. However, my fears were just a waste of time and effort. In the end it was clear that I could trust Veterans United to handle the financing of my new home in a professional way. You can put your confidence in Veterans United.
Make sure you have all your paperwork available, the quicker you get them the paperwork the quicker they can get you in your new home
You need to get the team that we had!
this will not be a fancy review cuz i'm just an ol time logger but the process of buyin a house the last time was a PAIN in the ass but every one at the Vetrans United was so helpful and knew their stuff it was actualy a very nice experience and Tony was on top of every thing all the time he could explain stuff so even I could understand
In a nutshell it was a good experience. What's disappointing is it was a great experience until right before closing. The last two days before I closed were a nightmare as far as I'm concerned. I asked for my HUD statement for a whole week before I closed. I finally received a "work in progress" one the night before I closed. I found an error on that one and was able to get it fixed. HOWEVER, I had to delay my closing 30 minutes due to not having a finalized HUD to know what I needed to bring to closing. I had to wait at the bank until I got a figure for what the check needed to be. When I get to closing my mortgage payment is over $150 more than I was told it would be. When I looked into the details the taxes were WRONG. I was being charged double taxes for my escrow. What was upsetting was the title company lady said she was working with you all until 7:30 pm the night before closing and was working to get a finalized HUD. She tells me she gets a message saying can't stay have to go, so she was left hanging with the unfinalized and incorrect HUD. The incorrect HUD led to my closing taking 2 1/2 hours which is unacceptable. It all could and should have been prevented. Also, I'm not happy I had to have the title company argue that my taxes were wrong at closing. At the end of the day we got it right, but you all caused me two full days of undue stress. The estimate for closing charges was way off too, as I had to bring 2K more than originally told. That is what it is, not upset about that, but I'm still sore about the HUD and not being able to review it and have it explained before my closing. I would tell you outside of the HUD and closing nightmare I was super happy. Ryan and Nicole answered all my questions and kept me apprised of the process the whole time. The gift of wine glasses from the team was very classy and appreciated. My real estate agent commented multiple times about this being the best VA lender he has ever worked with. At the end of the day I would recommend VU as I think my HUD/closing issue was a one off issue. I'm sure my job will move me, and if I buy again I'll probably stay with VU. That's probably and not definitely which is a shame.

The experience was fine. Being the second home we've purchased, I would add that Veterans United was better than a brick and mortar lender that we previously had used. My ONLY complaint was how long closing took. 3 hours after arriving we still hadn't gotten a wire, and that bothered me because I was burning valuable UHaul hours. Great overall experience. I'd do it again.
Joe Ferling and his Veterans United Team were very helpful and responsive during the loan closing process. Together we were able to quickly bring the process to a successful conclusion despite my being away from home much of time. Thanks Joe and Team
