From the beginning, our loan officer(Jodi Coons) went through every step with us and any questions or concerns we had she answered them promptly and honestly. She truly had our best interest at the forefront through the whole process. I highly recommend Veterans United.
I would just like to say my whole team was amazing, Ward Mershon and Jay Christman always there to answer random questions along the way and point me in the right direction, they definitely went above and beyond, hands down don’t think you can find a better loan officer and specialist. Holly glass crunching numbers last minute to make sure I can stay in the green for the loan and working with me directly was amazing and I am very grateful for her help and experience. My realtors Rebecca and Bruce were and still are amazing thanks for connecting me with such great people in general. Oh and Tara Fuemmeler dude amazing as well, always there to let me know I gotta sign something and super nice. Honestly I feel like this is the best possible team anyone could receive I got super lucky and I feel bad not everyone cant experience what I did. Every issue, question or potential set back, no problem at all, my roster was stacked and I didn’t even know it, this team is so good I’m considering never buying a house again because I don’t think anyone else will come close to being as good. Veterans United Was absolutely amazing from start to finish. When we first applied for this loan we weren’t quite there yet with our credit. Instead of being told no like we were several times in the past with other lenders, vets United Went above and Beyond and put us in contact with our credit consultant Charlie. He told us exactly what we needed to do in order to get our credit where it needed to be and within no time we were ready to talk to our loan officer! Darin was amazing And also went above and beyond to get us preapproved and helped us through the entire loan process. Morgan was our Loan coordinator and she was absolutely amazing! She answered every single one of our questions on a day-to-day basis And made this entire process smooth and very stress free! Kohlie was Our concierge she was very informative and very friendly! Michelle, Chris, and team were excellent! I appreciated the timely updates on where we were during the process as well as responding to all of my questions.
Eric did a great job coordinating the entire effort from the start. Once it was passed to the underwriting/load coordination team the wheels fell off.There was a lack of clear communication. Information was provided and uploaded multiple times via email and their internal document system. Emails were clearly and obviously missed by the loan coordination team.I had to take the reins several times because there was a lack of clear communication and explanation on several issues. Several issues were fixed in the 11th hour due to a lack of communication and a lack of processing emailed/uploaded items that had been requested.Fortunately everything worked out in the end. The entire experience was, however, FAR more stressful than it had any reasonable expectation to be. We literally were worried we would lose the house and the contract 2 days before closing, and nobody from the loan coordination team had even responded to our queries on status updates 5 days before close.It very much seemed like the VU team was so heavily reliant on people taking their sweet time to choose a house that they just had no idea what to do in order to actually close in 30 days, despite my asking over and over.Happy we got the house, but VU should focus FAR less on technology integration and instead focus on understanding methods of solving problems, paying attention to direct emails with requested documents, and actually communicating with customers.

As mentioned above in my initial write up - here is my review thank you VU for being such an outstanding company/organization. All realtors love working with you all, and most sellers that never heard of you, loved you once it was all over and deal was over and completed. Hannah Liebhart and her entire team , Lauren Sprague, Emily Gandy, Kole Berry, and others I am sure behind the scene, did an outstanding job again....what a team effort.Precise execution of loan processing, and all upstream and downstream processes. Heidi and Brian were absolutely exceptional throughout our mortgage process.
