My only frustration was that I disclosed initially that I had a judgment and was preapproved anyway. Then at the end of the process / underwriter stage, I almost could not get approved for the loan because of it. I think more transparency on the judgment early on would have made that a bit smoother.
Made my first time home buying experience easy and glad I was able to have such an awesome loan team to help with any question I had.

I am conflicted at the moment...My transition from ~23 years of active duty military service, into retirement has been less than desirable. I honestly felt as though VU continued to move the goal post on my family and as a result, cost me ~$4K. The company appeared to base loan processing final approval and a 30 year commitment, off of these past 3 months of financials.As a Veteran of more than 2 decades of committed service to my country, I personally felt as though VU cared more for their own bottom line than providing support to my family and I.The stress level created by your company in this experience showed me that the V, didn't represent my fellow Veterans and I.Unless this changes, I will never use the company in the future (less than 5 years from now).
