Veterans United was outstanding. I used them for my initial home loan and the refinance loan. I have had tons of offers from other lenders but I made the choice to use VU and was completely satisfied. Thanks very much to Zach and his team for all of their efforts. I will come to VU first every time I consider a home loan because they make the process which can be difficult as effortless as possible.
I had heard several opinions about the "best" ways to purchase a first home using my VA loan. While those ways or banking options may have worked for them, this process worked for me! I didn't feel nearly as comfortable with any other companies that I went to for pre-approval like I did with Veterans United. The process of refinancing our home with a VA loan was by no means an easy one. If you decide to attempt a similar transaction, go in with eyes wide open and know ahead of time that the process is convoluted and time consuming. Also, the costs almost always be more than what you were quoted....quite a bit more!
