
The first 15 days after locking in my rate was great. However, when it came closer to closing I was constantly given nebulous responses to specific questions. The last four days before closing can only be described as infuriating. My loan team avoided calls, texts, and emails from myself, my realtor, and the title company. I had to call and speak to an operator just to get a response from loan "specialist." I will never finance with or recommend Veterans United to anyone after our experience. We had our paperwork extremely late and had to jump through hoops to close on time. Additionally, the closing disclosure was incorrect and I did not have time for them to fix their mistake, which they knew to be a mistake but failed to QC their work. I honestly feel like we received excellent service until we locked in a rate, then were ignored so they could poach more clients.If they do post this all I can say is to go somewhere else.

At different times during the loan process, things came up that looked insurmountable yet our loan officer, Zachary Roberts turned it all into plain english I could understand and basically held my hand through the particular part of the process.until i got through it. He was wonderful! All other associates we had contact with, though a shorter amount of time, were wonderful, very helpful!

Customer Service was outstanding. They kept us informed through the whole process from start to finish. A+ for the team! I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I had Dave and Kari for the financing on my house. I was warned by friends about how much getting a VA loan could be a nightmare with how strict they can be and to make it worse I did it without any realtors. Dave and Kari made life 10x easier by answering every question I had and making the journey of getting everything I needed done a whole lot easier. I’m pretty sure I called a couple times a day everyday to Kari just to be sure I had things done right and wasn’t missing anything. I’m pretty sure at one point I asked her if she was tired of seeing my name pop up on her phone yet and she assured me she wasn’t annoyed yet. I enjoyed being able to talk to the same two easy going people all the time versus just anyone who answered the phone.

I’m extremely happy and feel so much joy in my heart that I finally was able to make a dream come true of being a homeowner!! Thank you soooo much!!

Veterans United is great to work with overall. Buying a house has been stressful both times, and Vets United makes it much easier. Nick from vets United if by far the best home loan person I’ve talked to. Not to sell short Morgan who we also worked with was great. When I tried talking with my bank about buying a house it felt like they weren’t giving me the time of day. I never felt that way with Veterans United. My wife and I have good credit, a great income to debt ratio, and my bank failed to give us that recognition. That’s why we chose to work with these guys again.

Home buying is a happy time in life and we appreciate having Veterans United help to fullfill this dream.

The online portal made this process so much easier and so smooth! Was originally started with navy Federal, however that was a miserable headache. The lender would only contact us as she was leaving the office. Every call started with “hey! I am about to close up for the day so I can only talk for a moment, but I wanted to give you an update on your loan....” Our questions we Lee never answered, complications never clearly communicated or options issued. The whole process (minus that above thing) was so smooth, so clear, and so simple (simple on our end anyway). We’re so glad we switched over and do highly recommend Veterans United.
