Before we started looking to buy a hole, we heard nothing but great things about Veterans United, that they keep people in the loop and, never take advantage of the buyer. Well, sorry to say that was not our experience at all. Due to Phil’s tactics and forgetful ness we had an EXTREMELY stressful 24 hours prior to close wondering if we would have a home or not. More than likely will not use Veterans United again because of Phil.

I don't usually write reviews but these folks,Eleonora Martinez my real estate agent and Jerry Simons and his team are the best. I would recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a home.
I would strongly recommend that if you are new to buying a home that you find someone that you know and trust to help you understand the paperwork you receive. Do not expect that all the numbers and data are in order. I was able to catch several mistakes and in the end it was corrected but I may have missed on an opportunity to secure a better loan.

VU was very patient with us, while we were trying to find something in this very unreasonable market that is happening at the moment in Colorado. It took more than a year and required us to search the entire length of the state and into other states to find the right house, but once it was found, the process was facilitated rather quickly.

My Agent Ryan Sherman, walked me though the long process of getting documentation, advising me on each step as we moved forward and guided the process to closure as smoothly as possible. He never failed to return my calls promptly, I greatly appreciated that as you never know when a return call will come, but he was always withing 30 minutes, not hours or days as I have experienced. He made me feel as if my mortgage was his prime concern and was always there for me taking care of my business.
I encourage all veterans who are looking to buy a home to use Veterans United. The loan teams are the best. Veterans you need to check out Veterans United before looking at any other loan company.
