This was my first time purchasing a home and I read reviews about veterans united and could never really understand how great they were until I purchased my house. They’re amazing at what they do and couldn’t have asked for a better lender. They were always communicating and even helped drop my interest rate! The one thing I did not like was them using a third party verification on car loans, other mortgages, etc. I’m sure those people were vetted and hope they were. They are in India and with all the scams originating from there, it made me very nervous they had lots of my personal information. This should be reconsidered by Veterans United.
Veterans United made my first time home buying experience enjoyable. The process was simple and I truly felt they had my best interests in mind, such as when my loan officer called me to notify me of a drop in rates so I could lock in a great rate without missing out. They also stayed focus on the goal of taking care of me when the realtors lost their minds which resulted in our closing on time, and actually earlier than expected.
