Through all the difficulty, the whole team was great!

Being a first time home buyer the experience was great. Everyone was very knowledgeable, willing to educate, and be patient with me during the process. There were a few issues that were uncontrollable, but everyone worked hard to make it happen in the end. My only gripe was the seller and I agreed to split closing. The estimated closing was 3000 more than what was projected due to an unforeseen property tax. This caused a lopsided closing on my end. Other than that it was a great experience and would recommend Veteren United to friends, and will use them for my next purchase.

My experience with veterans united and my loan officer Dave Michaud was absolutely outstanding. I knew I was in good hands from the start. I would recommend veterans united to any veteran looking to buy a home. They worked hard, they were patient, and they made sure I was fully up to speed and fully understood the entire process. These people are amazing.

Excellent experience and outcome. VA United looks out for their customers.

Make sure you ask for your inspections don after the VA appraisal instead of the 7 day period that realitors ask for on your behalf. Beware of Assesments, flood zones, old roofs because this will cost you big time on your monthly payments

Jimmy and his team did an outstanding job through the entire process. They were prompt and polite. I will recommend them to all friends and family.

If you are a Veteran, you can shop around, but your probably not going to get better service or better rates.

Truth be told I was scared to begin this journey of buying a home. I was convinced I wasn't a good applicant, and I surely didn't think a lender would believe otherwise. I was wrong. VU helped me see that I was actually in an excellent position to buy a home. They met me at my level and saw me through to completion. When it comes to buying our next home, I will use Veterans United over any other lender in the nation. Period. If you are currently serving, or are a veteran/retiree, Veterans United is second to none.

Veterans United was awesome. This was my first home and I was not very knowledgeable on the entire process. They took the time to explain everything to me and work with me throughout the process. They made buying my first home easy! I would recommend veterans United to anyone ready to take the step into home buying.

The only thing that I do want to note not as positive is that Veterans United should put their rates up front prior to asking customers to finish the checklist. I was hoping that Veterans United gave me options once I turned in my income information and my credit check was completed. Chris brought me back when I went to look at another company.

I thought it was very smooth process with them.

The VA has strict guidelines for getting a loan. The underwriting process is challenging however we made it through.

Experience first-hand why 348,323 homeowners give us a perfect score!
Had not applied for or had a mortgage for many years and found that things had really changed since the 1980s when we last worked with a lender. The amount of documents required to obtain a mortgage was astounding to us and practically a fully time job to satisfy the requirements. However we were very pleased with the assistance and direction we received from our transaction coordinator and loan officer. Think the only suggestion we would have would be for the lender to provide the entire list of required documents , in the beginning, and prioritize which ones needed and when. Then the borrower could work on everything at their own pace.

Once they review your submittal and they return your call, your chances at that point becomes a done deal. The experience that they have is amazing and the staying in touch and keeping you in the loop during every transition even . if it's something that you choose to do they have a specialized team that will see you through providing...

Great service!!!

Very helpful and professional!! At any time we could have stopped the process but they were willing to work with us on some issues. I give them 5 stars. I would recommend them to family and friends.

Buying a house for a first time was so easy with Veterans United. Everyone was so nice and willing to explain whatever questions we had. Will definitely be using them again.
