I felt like I was working with friends. Nicole Viar and Christie Thomason answered all my emails within hours if not minutes. They kept me informed with what was going on during the whole process including the underwriting. I have to say that even the Title company told me that Veterans United was the best lender they have ever worked with. Said the paperwork was done on time and efficient. That working with them was a pleasure they rarely get with lenders.
Underwriter was difficult to work with. Appraisal of house took too long to schedule. Multiple requests for last minute information which I did not believe was necessary nor was the information provided that much different from earlier information. Last minute requests proved challenging, especially for a) data that was not available, or b) format not acceptable. Be prepared to provide A LOT of personal information.
Veterans United was awesome! Everything went so smooth.
