I was approached by several lending companies after applying online. Most were overly aggressive and either straight out called me an idiot for not going with their company or slandered my choice for a lender. Veterans United was the only professional one out the bunch. They took the time to explain the process, and made it extremely easy online. Actually closed earlier than originally planned. I'll only refer friends directly to Veterans United to save them the hassle I had to go through.

Had a issue with Erin not answering when I needed to talk to them. Wouldn't get any calls back either after leaving messages. This was my only issue.
It was a pleasure working with Veterans United Home Loans. I informed them that I had to move out of the rental that I was in and needed to find a home ASAP. I contacted them in the month of November and we closed on the home the following month on the 27th of December. You can't beat that turn around time! GREAT JOB!

Both Alex and Kat provided thorough explanations when we didn't understand parts of the loan application process. They did a great job with preparing us for the closing meeting. We also loved their sections 1 through 10 video series. They really helped us comprehend the loan application process more effectively. Alex and Kat were very responsive to correcting proofread errors. Most importantly, they watched out for our best interest throughout the process and ensured whatever benefits we qualified for, we received them. We very pleased we selected Veterans United for our mortgage loan needs and we strongly recommend them to anyone buying a home.

They have a professional staff that goes the distance with you through out the process. They have tutorials that should be read BEFORE you purchase a home to help you better prepare for home ownership. They have information readily available to the home buyer that makes you feel more comfortable about taking on the responsibility of owning a home.
