I was very disappointed with my overall experience. It is a blessing to be able to own a home but no one should have to go through what me and my wife did. I am a United States veteran, I’ve earned this loan and I feel it shouldn’t have been difficult to use. Also the trust level I had towards Veterans United is gone. After they overestimated our initial taxes for escrow and didn’t want to fix the mistake that was made I’d say i wouldn’t go with veterans united as a lender ever again. Initially i believed that veterans united Is going to take care of a veteran like it’s advertisements lead me to believe but my expectations were not met.

There was last min paper work and miscommunication about closing which was frustration but other than that it was good
I wish that S-1 at my battalion would have been as easy to work with as veterans united. it was a simple process and they were very professional. if you want to work with someone who cares about what you want, and without all of the administrative hassles? then your in the right place!
The Funding Fee may be a little much but it goes to helping other veterans get their home loans also.

Everything went incredibly smooth. Everyone talks about how buying a home is stressful, I didnt feel any stress at all. I blame my loan team they were so easy to work with even my realtor was completely WOWed. I feel that they worked as fast as possible but not lacking on commitment to my personal home loan to make sure we got the best loan for us...
