There were a number of unforeseen issues, out of Mr, King's control, that popped up, some at the last minute (Termite Inspection, Private Road Access, Home in a Trust) that delayed the closing. The closing was tentatively scheduled for the 30th of August 2019 and got delayed until the 17th of Sept. 2019.Once we were cleared to close, we received no contact from the closing agent, until, no lie, 20 minutes before the scheduled closing time. The closing agent called then and explained that she was running late. I explained the the agent, that I had not heard from anyone regarding how to make the payment and the exact amount. The agent stated that I could make the payment after the closing. The closing agent did not provide the payment instructions or amount at the closing. I contacted Mr. King after the closing and got the instructions from him and was able to make the payment the same day as closing.It was Mr. King's determination that ultimately made the loan happen!
The overall experience with veterans United was great. Everyone was on the same page through out this journey. From the start to the end. Just stay on top of your paperwork trail and your good!!!!

Veterans United has been outstanding. This is my second loan through VU and the experience seems to get better each time. This time I did a refinance and i worked with John P and Kate. both of these individuals were very responsive to my emails and questions. Kate would give an update at the end of the week which would let me know where we stand with the loan.
