I initially started my VA loan approach by surfing the internet and trying to find what lenders were providing in interest rates and that's how I came into contact with Veterans United. I spoke with them and I was kind of on the fence with the going with them, but I decided to have my background checked and become pre-approved. I also went to Navy Federal and received a pre-approved loan that provided a slightly better interest rate. Naturally I went down the path of Navy Federal, but Veterans United fought for my attention and sent a package in the mail with a pair of socks and that won me over. In addition, I started to see how Navy Federal was doing this process and I had a lot of questions as a first time home buyer. Veterans United made their team readily available to answer my questions, plus their website/app was just easier for me to understand everything that was required. I highly recommend Veterans United to anyone.

Overall great experience. Online interface made it easy to get documents in and Bobby Moss was always easy to get ahold of and a pleasure to talk to. One thing I would recommend is that more information on what is going on at a certain point in the process is always better than less. I understand you’re an enormous lender but halfway through the process I almost switched to a local lender because right off the bat I felt a little more comfortable with her. She offered to explain almost every aspect of what was going to happen and fees that could come up. I had to tell her that I didn’t need her to explain something where as sometimes I had to pry for information with VU. In the end you guys won my business. 10/10 experience. Just remember to continue to put yourselves in the buyers place and be generous with information. I consider my financial intelligence fairly high but buying a home involved learning an incredible amount of information and I could barely keep up with it. Just something to think about.
