We were very sceptical at first about choosing a lender we looked for local ones and we looked for some others for veterans but me being me I pay attention to everything when I’m looking for a service and Veterans United Home Loans we’re Transparent and professional and answered my 100 questions perfectly and thoroughly without any issues. The process was easy and the communication was amazing there is a reason for all of the amazing reviews they honestly made our home buying process memorable and exciting. I can’t speak for every one at veterans United but the team who handled our refi and especially Brian Jahnsen did a very good job. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to refi a mortgage. I might add these comments were not solicited from me except for them sending me the survey to my e mail. These are my own words based on our experience with veterans United so far.

VUHL was very helpful dealing with our unique circumstances, especially in making specific suggestions to improve my credit score. Be aware however, that even though it is advertised that VA Cash Out refinance offers 100% refinancing of your home's value, it is still contingent on your credit score. Ask early in the process how much you're able to borrow and how much they are estimating your home's value. Your appraised value may be less than what VUHL estimates, therefore, you may end up getting less cash back than you originally counted on.
My only complaint is that my real estate taxes are double what they should be. Being an out of state lender they did not understand local tax code. In this area taxes should be no more than 150-200 dollars per month. I am paying $367. I cannot wait to resolve this issue.
