Everyone is really helpful and will answer any questions you may have. It was a good first time home buyers experience and i definitely learned so much, the appraisal is the only thing you have to watch out for because on both my attempts it was appraised lower and for a reconsideration of appraisal it takes 3 weeks minimum. The appraiser is not a local appraisal and they may use items that aren’t accurate like unsold homes and fixer upper homes this will impact the price of your home to be lower than anticipated which is good if the seller is willing to work with you but if they don’t you may lose the home unless you pay the difference. Most of us don’t plan on having to pay this difference but you should.
I highly recommend Veteran United and would definitely use them again if we decide to move. Not sure because they helped us get into such a beautiful home!

My only complaint was the VA appraiser that came out. He didn't even show up for the re inspection he just called in and said we were good but got paid for not showing up. I'm kinda pissed and felt like this guy scammed me as on his first re inspection he cited all cosmetic damage in the driveway and not actual tripping hazards and then didn't even come out the last time.
For any veterans looking for a home, I recommend Veterans United. They make the process so easy.

Our experience with Veterans United was over all Great. My wife and I finally decided to purchase a house after finding out we were moving to the state we really wanted to live in. In the beginning of the process we had help from the Veterans United light house program which helped us attain the loan, with this I must say that Jon Binkley did a wonderful job explaining what steps we needed to take to improve our score. We called him often for advice, he would tell us how to properly handle the situation and after all that we got to where we wanted to be. Being a first time home buyer with a VA loan we also wanted to get a real estate agent that knows VA well, we were glad to have asked for a referral from Veterans United as they gave us Chad Lauber. Chad did an outstanding job, we could contact him anytime and he would have the answers we needed or if not he will get it as soon as possible, he did a great job with our offer and he was very patient with our process. Last but not least, Amelia Keller, the agent with Veterans United that helped with all our transactions was amazing to work with. She gave clear instructions, clear explanations with all that was going on with the process, she was very active with answering all and any questions we had. Being a first time home buyer, we had plenty of questions especially on the loan side of things and she made it easy for us to understand as to what to expect from then till closing. It was a pleasure working with these agents.
