I am satisfied with Veterans United ,but I would recommend all documents other than when you close to be e-signature. I am a blue collar worker and other Veterans like myself would benefit from this. Changing to this process would greatly speed up process for loan coordinator and borrower.

Any and all paperwork necessary to be able to close on the home should be asked for upfront and as soon as possible. The repeated requests for additional paperwork and signatures necessary to close that continued to delay the closing process toward the end was very frustrating. There were a few times that these request came less than 24 hours before the set closing date.

The only issue was not in United Veterans nor my control--the mid June suspension by the IRS of the on-line request program to get transcripts and some agents authority to act on phone requests being held up did create a bit of hassle and may have for others as well----the fact that it did happen hopefully will telegraph to them that there is a need to make some simplification to the process particularly for veterans----altho I am not I can see where the difficulties would be compounded for a disabled vet

Steve Horsely is a super agent----he in fact did all of the real estate work in lieu of the primary listing agent and got paid less.---Richard Rian

From the first phone call to pre-qualification was less than 10 minutes. From the first phone call to pre-approved with an interest rate attached was 5 business days counting the travel time for documents (which they sent overnight and with return envelopes that were prepaid for 2 day shipping via UPS). Every step of the way they were re-assuring, up front, quick to respond and help explain every nuance and answer all the questions we had.
