It would have been nice if I was informed at beginning that I had to restrict my search due to potential 6-7 month approval process. I found a great place, but I looked at 20 or so townhomes/condos which I informed Chris Shoemaker regarding each time......he simply just stated "yes you're good with this price, etc", but I learned hard way about the pre-approval process. I do not see a seller holding a property 6-7 months for an approval process to take place. I felt that my shopping was very limited due to time concerns.
It was wonderful from start to finish. Couldn't be happier. Jared and Brandi were amazing. They guided me through each phase of the home buying process. They answered all questions. They are pleasant and professional.
There were a disconnect with a few things. I think members of his team were a little overwhelmed with customers. I was given different information from day to day over the phone, I was asked for additional information that is due 10 days prior to closing the day I was to close which in fact delayed closing. I was called a different name on the phone which made me believe she wasn't even looking at my file. It was a little frustrating, and I would have thought my file should have been review more carefully prior to going to underwriting.
There were many hurdles to overcome on my loan. You all were patient and got me through the process.
