He even saved us over 2k dollars a year in homeowners insurance at the last minute. The real estate agent they recommended, Shana Reese, was absolutely phenomenal. She went above and beyond anything we expected and was incredibly helpful, helping us to find our dream home. Thank you everyone at Veterans United! I was a school teacher in a former life. And I never gave a 100% on an essay exam. I was convinced that there was always room for improvement. However, the experience that my wife and I had with the team from VU was so special that I've broken my own rule. Our loan specialist and team leader did an outstanding job. It was a painless as it could have been. And everyone was an exemplar of what customer service should be like. In another life, I was a publisher, and one of my areas of business book concentration was customer service. VA will get a mention in the next such book that publish.

Things were going good when Jeff was handling my account. He went on extended medical and his accounts were handled by Erin Jensen. Almost immediately things went 'south'. Items needed were asked for at the last moment. Items United Home Loans already had were asked for again. Phone calls seldom returned. Felt uncomfortable dealing with Erin.
Mike Ritz was very knowledgeable and professional, Caroline was easy to get along with and was very courteous when requesting documents.
