So the house did not appraise for the offered price. I raised the issue soon after the report came out, asking if I saw it correctly, as was trying to view it on my cell. They assured me it had appraised for the price. It was 8 days before we were notified it did not, and we then had to haggle with them to get closer to the appraised price, which cost us another 2 weeks and $12,500 more than the appraised price. So that was not pleasant! However, Jon got us a good rate and was very easy to work with.
I just want to thank each and every person who helped and worked on my file. Thank you for your hard work and dedication towards this home buying process. You all made my dreams come reality and I'm forever grateful.
